FAQ

Who can practice Pilates?

Pilates is good for everyone! No matter your age, shape, physical condition or size! Whether you are an athlete, or sit in the office all day, retired or just gave birth... Whatever your objectives are, I will find the right exercises for you and help you reach your goals.

I've never done Pilates before. How do I start?

We will start with 1 private session, in which I can learn about your fitness condition, lifestyle and goals, in order to build a specific training program for you.

After this, you can choose between private sessions, small group equipment sessions (with maximum 3 trainees), or even a combination between private and group sessions.

Whatever you choose, you can be sure that you will learn how the exercises should be performed as well as any modifications that might be needed for your body.

I have an injury. Can I do Pilates?

I have a lot of experience working with clients who suffer from pain and injuries, and Pilates exercises can be modified according to the client physical condition and mobility restrictions.

You can rest assure that you will get my full attention since I only teach private sessions, or small group equipment classes of no more then 3 trainees.

If you have any concerns about your ability to practice Pilates, please be sure to consult with your doctor before starting.

What should I wear and bring to my class?

Wear comfortable clothes, but not too loose, since I have to be able to see the way you perform the exercises in order to make sure you are doing it right.

For hygiene reason, please wear clean socks during your practice.

Some clients prefer to bring their own bottle of water.

I'm pregnant. Can I do Pilates?

If you have been practicing Pilates before, it is totally fine to continue practicing with some modifications. If you have any concerns, please consult with your doctor.

If you have never done Pilates before, it is not recommended to start practicing now. I would love to have you as a client, of course, after you give birth, as Pilates can help restore the pelvic floor and strengthen your body.

How many times a week should I do Pilates?

I recommend 2 -3 times a week, but as long as you are consistent you can benefit even from just 1 time a week.

What if there is no time on your schedule that fits me?

Please call / email me / use the contact form, if you have any problem with finding appointment availability. I will be happy to assist you with finding the time that works best for you.
